You are inclined to study on the problems encountered by 5 selected family owned corporation particularly on the performance of new employees. The respondents of the study are the new employees which relatively numbering for about 600. How would you choose the samples?
We can use Stratified sampling here as the no. of new employees is large, i.e. 600 and we would like to avoid simple random sampling.
In this method, the population is first divided into subgroups (or strata) who all share a similar characteristic. It is used when we might reasonably expect the measurement of interest to vary between the different subgroups, and we want to ensure representation from all the subgroups.
