Datu Mantel is represented as the only person who has say over Moros. Moros are represented as protective as they do not welcome visitors in the town and even the bus does not stop to avoid being hit. This basically to protect thier religion and the society.

Togetherness as it is reperesented in the execerpt, as christians are fighting muslims causes their number to reduce. Cultural identity prevailed during this time. Globally, people of different cultures relate differentlt tend to treat each other in relation to their culture.

Governance- Pikit has stood on its own having a leader who is followed for his decisions and he fights for the people.

Economy- They do not welcome visitors to the town and hence the economy might stagnate due to lack of investments from outsiders. They believe that they are self reliant and that they don’t need other.

Culture- They are over protective to their culture and don’t want any influence from outside. Fighting for cultural identity would cause culture erosion because of over emphasis.

Environment- The environment were they stay being far from town has a lot hidden in it. There are a lot of illegal activities taking place in this town and it will bring damage to them.

Peace and order- Pikit is faced with issues of insecurity and they keep have datu to protect them. They are even supposed to be in the house by 6pm and only datu is supposed to roam at night.
