Management as planning means that management is also a process with its purpose being to define goals for the company’s future determination and determine its directions, missions, and resources to be used towards set targets achievements. Managers need to develop plans that will be used to meet the set objectives, for example, a business or marketing plan. On the other hand, planning as management entails that planning is the management’s function that involves objectives setting and determination of action courses towards the achievement of the set goals.            Gari business is a business that sells cassava in different forms. It began from a small scale and has tremendously grown across that globe. Since that business is growing, it needs management planning that will help steer its growth vision towards achieving its set targets, for example, it targets to supply more cassava and to many countries in the Western countries.
